Host an Event at Nehoiden

Interested in holding a special event at Nehoiden for 20 or more golfers? Capitalize on the natural beauty of our spectacular 9-hole golf course, plus the majesty of the Wellesley College campus for your next corporate event.

We specialize in events that offer a golf option for all, regardless of ability level.  Whether you are a single-digit handicapper, a rusty intermediate or a plain old novice, Nehoiden has something to offer you.  Choose the golf activity that works for you – or create an event where you offer more than one activity to maximize participation.

Would you like to book Nehoiden for an event? The course and facilities are open for a limited number of event bookings. To inquire, please fill out this form, or email us at nehoidengolfacademy@gmail.com.

At Nehoiden we offer the following options:

+
9-Hole Scrambles

The traditional approach in a manageable “afternoon” event.  Most golf events take all day, and these days, many people can’t afford to be away from the office for a full day, no matter the enjoyment of golf or the benefits of business golf.  We can tailor an event that allows you to work a half-day AND be home for dinner.

+
Beginner Clinics

For those who have not yet mastered golf, or who have yet to pick up a club, no need to be left out!  Be the first to invite your clients to play golf, even if they don’t yet play. Our Beginner Clinics combine an overview of Full Swing Fundamentals with the Basics of Putting and Chipping.  We provide ALL equipment – you just need to show up.

+
Intermediate and Advanced Clinics

For those who have mastered the game's findamentals but want to work on specific areas that let you down on the course, this is your chance to brush up on those trouble areas.  Discover how to introduce helpful drills, mini games and challenges to add variety to your game.  We can design a clinic to fit the needs and experience of your group.

+
Women, Golf & Business Workshops

The business benefits of golf are well-documented, as is the fact that women underleverage golf as a business tool.  Who better than Wellesley College to expose women to this invaluable skill, in an environment that is both supportive AND fun. Our workshop combines on-range instruction on basic golf skills plus a “classroom” session on the “must knows” for business golf.  Don’t be left behind by saying no when invited to a business outing! Anyone can use golf as a business tool, given a basic understanding of the game and some rudimentary skills.

Both events are open to Nehoiden female members.

Join the fun – you are welcome to compete in one or both Championships.

Never tried this before?  Make this your year to jump in.

Format:

  • 9-hole contestants play two rounds with another player and then submit their best gross
score (hole by hole).  The player with the best total net score after two rounds is the
champion. Prizes are awarded to the winner and runner up.
  • The 18-hole tournament is a stroke play format. Contestants play two rounds with
another player and submit their gross scores. Handicaps are applied and prizes are
awarded to both low gross and  low net competitors.
  • Don’t have a handicap?  No worries – we’ll help you estimate a handicap so you can
    play.
  • There is a small fee to cover prizes and expenses.
